Community Learning Centre, Casas Blancas, La Dalia 

CESESMA has built a Community Learning Centre in the community of Casas Blancas, Municipality of Tuma-La Dalia

The Community Learning Centre provides a much-needed accessible and affordable venue for a wide range of non-school learning activities, some facilitated directly by CESESMA, and others organised independently by local young people. This “multiplier effect” is the basic principle of CESESMA’s work, and the secret of its success. The centre is managed by a committee of local young activists (“promotores” and “promotoras”), many of whom have worked with CESESMA on community education projects since childhood.

The Centre was opened on 24th February 2005.
